To Assign a Balloon Number in Device Properties Dialog

  1. Once you assign a balloon number to a symbol, the balloon number displays in the Device Properties dialog if you edit the device ID of the corresponding symbol.
  2. If desired, you can edit the balloon number in the Device Properties dialog.
  3. You can also assign a balloon number in the Device Properties dialog when entering or editing a part number for a symbol before you place the balloon itself. This balloon number will then be entered automatically when you add a balloon to the symbol later.
